Kimchi Grilled Cheese

COOK TIME: 10 min
SERVES: 1

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 slices sourdough bread

  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 2 tbs butter

  • 1/4 cup kimchi, chopped and drained

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Chop & drain your kimchi (save the brine for soups or stews!)

  2. Butter your bread on both sides, and place the cheese evenly on both sides. Place on a heated skillet for 5-8 min (until the cheese melts).

  3. Place the kimchi on one slice of bread, and top with the other slice of bread. Cover and cook for 2-4 min. Flip if necessary to avoid burning.

  4. Enjoy!
